Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the intended audience for this work?

Anyone in a high impact role, meaning they’re tasked to support or lead others. While we designed this workshop for educators and educational leaders, the same practice could be used to support others in high burnout industries – like healthcare and social work.

What kind of sessions do we offer?

We design every session with the humans it will serve at top of mind. While we prefer to design all day sessions (6 hours), we can work with you and your team to design shorter or longer sessions that can fit your needs.

Do we send the journal separately?

While the journal has plenty of valuable activities – ones that touch on things like Internal Family Systems and Boundary-Setting – the real juice comes from the shared and communal experience that session offers. This is one of the reasons we don’t send copies of the journal separate from the session. We do provide all participants with a copy of the journal (a 90 page coloring journal with various self-awareness building and choice-making activities) and are happy to share a digital student copy with participants after the session.

How do we create an environment that prioritizes safety and belonging?

We work proactively and responsively to create space where participants can be their whole selves and share in ways that feel safe for them. This looks like establishing sharing protocols and separate spaces for solitude and regulation, and also having guides on the side to help folks find the support they need during challenging moments. We help teams relate with empathy and encouragement, while providing tools and language to engage in healthy communication and advocate for their individual needs with care and clarity.
